Andrea Finck discovered her passion for art in an unusual way: Not through classical academies, but through her encounter wit...h ancient vase paintings, Roman frescoes and Greek sculptures. Her study of ancient art and cultures (archaeologie) inspired her deeply and allowed her to develop her very own artistic expression. But Andrea's path to art is also marked by a personal loss: her idyllic home island of Waltershof, which she experienced as a magical natural space in her childhood and which has now disappeared under the Hamburg container terminal. This experience sparked a deep longing in her to explore the fragile relationship between people, nature and culture and to make it visible through her works. The growing recognition of her work is also reflected internationally: collectors from all over Europe and beyond have now become aware of her extraordinary works. Andrea Finck regularly presents her pictures in important, juried and curated exhibitions on the subject of "Nature and Culture", making her an exciting artist whose career holds great potential. Today, Andrea Finck lives and works on an old estate near the Elbe River near Stade in Lower Saxony, where she continues to capture the beauty and meaning of nature in her paintings as a creative ambassador.

My art operates at the interface between nature and culture, past and present, reality and imagination. It is characterized by the deep conviction that a harmonious relationship between humans, nature and cultural heritage is not only possible but also essential. In my work, figurative and abstract forms merge to build a bridge between visible reality and immaterial world. Landscapes are not mere images of nature, but spaces in which memories, sensations and historical fragments come to life. Ancient scenarios combine with contemporary impressions to create a current yet timeless presence. My painting opens up spaces for reflection on our relationship with the environment and our cultural heritage - a reminder that our existence depends on both. "My artworks appear like dream worlds in which colors and shapes merge with emotions, memories and visions. They are visual poetry and open windows into an inner world full of secrets and possibilities."
