In my art, I am drawn to the spaces where solitude and memory linger—where a single figure, a weathered chair, or a fleeting expression can evoke entire stories. My practice blends figurative realism with expressive mark-making, often placing the human form within lush, textured environments that blur the line between interior and exterior worlds. I work in both monochromatic and vibrant palettes, using light and shadow to heighten emotional nuance and invite viewers into moments of quiet reflection. Chairs, windows, and natural motifs recur throughout my work, serving as symbols of presence, absence, and the passage of time. Each piece is an invitation to pause, to notice the subtle interplay between what is seen and what is felt. Ultimately, my goal is to create art that resonates on a personal level—art that honors the beauty of introspection and the enduring connection between people and the spaces they inhabit.
